Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel has held discussions with representatives and stakeholders to improve the implementation and management of inclusive education in Nepal.

Members of the House of Representatives, persons with disabilities, teachers with disabilities, disability rights activists, representatives of different organisations and other concerned groups took part in the meeting.

The participants also shared their experiences regarding difficulties seen in the practical implementation of inclusive education. They called for better arrangements to protect the professional rights, services, facilities and access to schools for teachers with disabilities.
